I just assembled them and they work very well. They have 3 types of lighting, they feel very light and somewhat fragile but the truth is that they illuminate very well. The assembly is simple and for what they cost, they are perfect.

I ordered two, they provide excellent light for photography. The arm is relatively good but limited in movement options. I managed to find a position that works for me.

Previously, I bought this lamp from another supplier and the brightness was terrible. The opposite with this lamp, the brightness is great, it articulates very well at all its support points. I highly recommend it.

For the price, this is a fairly decent product. It’s color/temperature changing feature is not great, but should be sufficient for most cases. There was/is one noteworthy issue that i have identified with it. If you do not use a large enough power supply, the light likely will automatically turn off after a few moments or may not turn on at all. When on, the controller switch gets fairly warm. Likely this is because the wire used is far too small for the amount of current this device draws. You will need a 5vdc / 2.2a supply for this to work, however i recommend a supply capable of more than 2.2a. In other words, the old apple iphone power blocks likely will be too small to support this.

I am very very satisfied with this product; I in fact love that it’s not using battery and the plug is usb; I just plug it to my cpu and enjoy full light at all times instead of the light going dim as the battery goes low (if it was battery and it doesnt charge while in use). The longevity of the led lights is the only thing i’m concerned about; the lights may start dying one by one soon, which would require getting a new light. But apart from that, it’s worth the money. Even the engineering of the neck adjustment sweets me.

It’s excellent; in my case, it’s used for lighting in model making and miniature painting. The fringe it comes with is perfect for changing its orientation, and then adjusting the light tone from warm white to daylight white.
