I have the MT84 and got the MT85 thinking it would be a good upgrade, since now it has 4 legs with automatic opening. But I still prefer the construction of the MT84 compared to the MT85. But both are great tripods and the magnet is very strong.

Perfect and very sturdy, the magnet was making me afraid that it wouldn’t be as good and the phone would fall off. I used the portable charger which is heavier than the phone and it doesn’t fall off.

The product lives up to its promise. I confess that the only difficult thing initially was opening the tripod. It took me some time to get the hang of opening it—whether it was just me or not, it was quite hard. (If it’s not, a tip would be to hold two of the legs and open the other.)

The tripod has excellent quality. I have an iPhone 12 and it works perfectly fine without a case. I was worried that it wouldn’t work with the MagSafe on the case, since I bought such a cheap case. In fact, I bought it here on Ali and paid less than 15, including taxes, for this cover that is in the photo. However, it stuck very well. I shook the tripod with the phone on it quite a bit, and the phone didn’t budge. It was a great value for money, even better because the product is already in Brazil. If the price is good, they can buy without fear, as it’s worth it.

Excellent tripod, well-built, strong magnet, and the camera control works perfectly. One detail compared to another Ulanzi tripod I have is that the MT85 is quite stiff to increase its size; you have to put a bit of effort to pull it up.

It arrived now, very good quality. The magnet sticks well to the iPhone, but I don’t know if it sticks to other devices. I’m not sure if it will stay firmly in a windy environment like outdoors. But it came well packaged and arrived within the specified time.
