About Us

We are dog lovers who ended up rescuing more dogs than we could walk at one time. We tried a bunch of “tangle free” products and ALL of them ended up in a tangled-up, braided mess. After several designs and prototypes, the Dawg Bawl was born, and it just works!

We use the Dawg Bawl every day to walk four crazy little dogs with one hand and literally forget about tangled messes.

If you walk more than one small dog at a time you then know they tend to crisscross and change positions. This can lead to the leashes getting tangled.

Until now, no other device on the market would allow the owners of multiple small dogs to walk 3-4 dogs without tangling. Other products use couplers and splitters that are attached to a “fixed” ring that cannot adjust when your dogs change positions. These devices will eventually braid and tangle.

Can I walk more than four dogs using the Dawg Bawl?

The Dawg Bawl was designed for a maximum of four dogs. It is not recommended to use more than four leads or walk more than four dogs while using the Dawg Bawl.

Can I use the Dawg Bawl with large dogs?

For your safety and the safety of your pets, do not use the Dawg Bawl with dogs over 30 pounds. (We are actively working on a Dawg Bawl for larger dogs)

Can I use the Dawg Bawl with a harness where the lead attaches to the front/chest area?

The Dawg Bawl should only be used with harnesses where the lead attaches to the back area of the dog. Front lead-attaching harnesses do not work well with the Dawg Bawl and should not be used.

I only have two or three dogs, can I still use the Dawg Bawl?

Yes! The Dawg Bawl was designed for up to four dogs so four leads are included. If you don’t need all four leads, only insert the number of leads you need and keep the extras as spares. You will find that the Dawg Bawl makes walking multiple dogs so easy, you may want to add more pups to your pack!

While walking my dogs, I hear a “clicking” sound inside the Dawg Bawl, is this ok?

Yes! The “clicking” is the sound of the leads changing positions and adjusting themselves inside the Dawg Bawl. This is the “magic” that untangles the leads – it means the Dawg Bawl is working. It might take a walk or two for your dogs to get accustomed to the sound. Our pups were initially wary of the sound but now when they hear it, they come running excitedly to go on a walk! Give your pups some time to adjust to the sound.
