The swivel head of the led is cheap and loose, but this shouldn’t effect your reading at all. Other than that, this is a lovely light that has 2 modes consistent of white light and warm light. Hold the button down to switch between the two modes. Once you’ve picked the mode you like, simply “click” the button. This will change the intensity of the light. It has up to three intensities to choose from, going from dim to moderate to bright. It is up to the subjective consumer perception as to how dim the “dim, moderate, and bright” is.
