Vw polo aw1 mod 18 with infotainment composition media and the radio is placed in the glove box.
Removing the radio, all the connectors are placed in a black plastic frame; you have to lift a plastic bit from the bottom of that frame. After that i disconnected the 2x connectors, the blue and the grey as suggested in the manual. I disconnect the two wires from the blue connector of the cord provided and to plug them in the identical blue connector of my car, at the right.
I plugged back the black plastic frame to my radio and started the engine. Waited and then plugged the camera. My infotainment made a reboot and after that as soon as i put the reverse in my gear box, the display shows the image from my camera! Excellent quality. You can set the brightness, the contrast and the colour of the image as desired.
P.s. The cam set b needs the bumper to be drilled. No need to remove it for camera installation, cause i could tighten the screw under and behind the bumper.

Polo gti 2018 mib2. The installation process was flawless! The guy who came up with this grey adapter is a genius! He needs to be promoted! I did everything as it was written in the instruction (scan the qr code on the package). The image quality is 7 out of 10 i would say, i meant it’s perfect for these money! The camera itself in a metal (!) Body, i think it’s additionally poured with compound so i thing it will work for a long time without fear being oxidized.
Am i satisfied? Sure! Thank you for the good product.
