This two-piece shorts set has been a great choice for my son’s summer sports activities. The fabric is soft, lightweight, and truly moisture-wicking—he stays dry and comfortable during basketball practice and running around the park. The shirt has a classic crew neck and forward-side seams for a nice fit, and the shorts feature contrast zippered side pockets (perfect for holding small items) and an elastic drawstring waistband that stays put. The relaxed straight-leg cut allows full range of motion. I love that the pieces are solid colors, so they can be mixed with other clothes—the shirt pairs with jeans, and the shorts work with any t-shirt. After several washes, the colors remain bright and the fabric hasn’t pilled. Sizing is true to the chart (we got a size 8 for my 8-year-old). A great value for a quality, comfortable set. I'd give these 6 stars if I could. For $17 this is an incredible set. I ordered another set at the same time which is a brand name and $26, but this set is WAY nicer. The color of the top and bottom match perfectly, the material is soft, the black dye is maintaining its color after a wash, which is a huge win. The material feels soft, slightly thick, but very smooth. It fits my son length wise very well, it's slightly on the wider side, maybe athletic fit, but the proportions of length of the shirt to length of the sleeves to length of the shorts are bang on- something a lot of Amazon clothes don't get right. Incredible value at $17, I will order more colors after testing this.

Overall, this is a decent athletic set. The deep zip pockets on the shorts are a great feature — actually useful, not just decorative. The polyester-elastane (spandex) fabric is light, soft, and fits well, and it's easy to mix and match each piece with other clothes in the wardrobe. A few things to note, though: the seam around the shirt neckline isn't sewn down (see photo), which could be an issue for clothing-sensitive kids. There are also quite a few loose threads throughout. And if you're ordering khaki, be aware it reads more camel-brown in person. The care instructions also recommend line drying in the shade and no soaking, which is a bit fussy for an athletic set. Good buy overall, just go in with realistic expectations.

This boys athletic shorts set is a nice, comfortable outfit. You get a matching shirt and shorts in a solid color, and I like the little detail of the black zippered pockets on the shorts, it breaks up the monochromatic look nicely. I chose khaki and it looks very nice on my son.

The material is super soft and silky, and it feels really comfortable against the skin. It is 93% polyester and 7% elastane. It also has a good thickness and feels well made overall. My son really likes it and says it’s so comfortable he could even sleep in it. It’s a simple set but feels good quality and easy for everyday wear. Fits true to size with a baggy fit. I think its a good value considering how nice the quality is. Highly recommend!
