Jimmy, the bartender at the El Patron, a avid hunter, has invited Jackson and Blackhawk to join him on an elk hunt deep in the mountain forests of Arizona. They have quads to ride and haul their gear, but motorized vehicles can only take them so far. Several miles from where they stashed their quads they discover the remains of a man who appears to have died at the hands of a bear. That is until Jackson notices the little bullet hole in the man’s skull.

That isn’t their only surprise.

They find themselves captive and in the middle of two warring deep woods, off the grid, militias. Things get hot, nasty and dangerous in a hurry.
