About the Authors
David Marc, MBS, CHDA is an assistant professor and the graduate program director for health informatics at the College of St. Scholastica in the Department of Health Informatics and Information Management. Mr. Marc is an accomplished speaker and researcher with a breadth of experience around health data analytics. Previously, Mr. Marc was employed at a biotech company where he developed predictive data models for the diagnosis of neurological and immunological diseases. Mr. Marc has a master’s degree in biological sciences from the University of Minnesota.
Ryan Sandefer, MA, CPHIT is an assistant professor and chair of the health informatics and information management department at the College of St. Scholastica. He is an elected board member and the chair of the AHIMA Council for Excellence in Education (CEE), is the past-chair of the CEE’s Research and Periodicals Workgroup, and currently sits on the AHIMA Foundation’s Graduate Research Network. Mr. Sandefer earned his master’s degree in political science at the University of Wyoming.
