At first, I was disappointed because neither the packaging nor the user manual mentioned the presence of negative ions. But after testing, you indeed get beautifully smooth shiny hair from this device. I’ve never had this beautiful before! The curling iron function gets very hot (hence the included gloves!). You can’t set the temperature either. The warm/cold function is useful. So I use it for curling. But then it gets quite hot. I find the sound to be a disadvantage. It is quite hard, especially if you want to make curls and spend a long time on it, it’s not pleasant. So, for blow-drying, straightening, and volume, this device is great! As a curling iron, I don’t find it ideal.
