Judging by the user manual, it mentions Micromot – usually products from Proxone. Having knowledge beyond just hearing about Proxone’s products, this is not the best product. First impressions – after disassembling and inspecting – are that it is made very flimsily, but most importantly, there is not a drop of lubricant. The design is simple – a crankshaft on the motor shaft (steel rod in a plastic washer). This pen fits into a plastic holder that is on the axis. Therefore, the oscillations are only side-to-side – right and left. The device cleans, but if you need longitudinal grinding (like me cleaning narrow longitudinal grooves), this device is not suitable for you. There is a similar device with a longitudinal movement of the platform. I removed one star due to lack of lubrication. Otherwise, considering the price tags of Proxone, it’s a normal and functional device for that money.
