Circuit Introduction:
This circuit is a light-emitting diode automatic control circuit composed of digital integrated circuits CD4060 and 74HC138. The CD4060 is internally composed of an oscillator and a binary counter with 10 stages of output. The oscillator can be connected externally to a crystal oscillator or RC. The control circuit is connected in RC oscillation mode, consisting of R1-R10 series and C1-C10 series. The resistance value of the resistor series is the sum of the resistance values of each resistor, The series connection of capacitors with the same capacity equals the capacity of a single capacitor/number of capacitors, 104/10,
After the oscillation circuit of CD4060 starts, the counter counts the oscillation signal, and each binary bit of the counter continuously flips with the counting, outputting a square wave signal with a frequency from high to low on pins Q4-Q14. Q4-Q10 drives one LED L9-L15 each, causing these seven LEDs to flicker at different frequencies. Q12-Q14 is connected to the input of integrated circuit 74HC138, which is a 3-8 wire decoding circuit. At the output end, only one bit is at a low level. As the data at the input end changes, Y0-Y7 sequentially becomes low, forming a flowing light effect on L1-L8. After the CD4060 count overflows, it will become 0 and be counted again. Thus achieving automatic control of 15 LED channels.
