This lock supports multiple unlocking methods, including apple homekit. Fingerprint unlocking is quick, and i would say it is the most convenient method. No phone/watch to bring. Just use your finger!. Installation is mostly easy. Some hints: 1. While it supports a bore hole of size 38mm or 54mm, i will suggest drilling the bigger 54mm as the cable is very cramped in a 38mm hole. 2. Due to the change in apple homekit, if you use the newest home app, you will need a “home hub” (e.g. Apple tv, home pod) to share your home key to family members. Ipad as home hub is no longer supported in the newest home app. Not a big deal as i prefer fingerprint. Note that this is not a problem of the lock but an apple problem.

Very excellent, I liked it honestly and it responds quickly, but its sound is very weak even if you turn it up to the highest.

Now, with just this product, you cannot register multiple people on Apple HomeKit. You need to have an Apple TV or Apple HomePod to register multiple people. Without an Apple TV or HomePod, only one person can use the Apple Key, and the others must use fingerprint or numeric keypad.

Highly recommended, works perfectly with Apple Home, comes very complete with all its parts and instructions, it was a bit more complex to install on a metal door.
