NETUM document scanner will connect automatically to your computer. (it is a driverless device used with Windows 10 , 8 . 7 , Vistaor XP operating systems. Your computer will recognize the device under the Cameras in the Windows Device Manager menu.)
Getting Started
1. Download the Document Camera Setup Guide and Software below link: //www.netum.net/pages/netumscan-document-camera-setup-guide
2. To start the program, please double click on the NetumScan Pro Software icon on the desktop or click Start Menu Windows icon then [ All apps ] to select NetumScan Pro Software.
3. Place a document on the position pad and align to position mark.
4. Select one of the function to scan your material from the main menu. You can make changes for your preferences in the settings menu andthen click [ Scan ] button for scan a document .

I’m using win11. When I downloaded the 64bit data from the homepage, it runs really well. I’m using an existing Samsung multifunction printer, but it recognizes and saves the scan right away without any scanning time, which is much faster than expected. I think I’ll buy a few more to give to my friends.

The magnifying brush doesn’t work, but other than that it’s fine.

Initial test works fine as ocr and imagen, even with the led lamps off, clean imagen an editable documents in english, y need to test in spanish (it will be new / update lenguaje modules? ), very fast delivery time.

Advantages) The text is not severely distorted and is readable with a reasonable price and quality. ^_^
Disadvantage) I expected it to be an integrated product with a scanner and base, but when I actually received it, there was a separate bent rubber mat inside the box…
But this rubber… the smell is really strong ㅠㅠ
It’s a bit inconvenient to adjust the position with the pad. If it’s an integrated scanner & stand configuration, the scanner should be a floating sword that can adjust position and angle, so the price should be higher… But I didn’t know it was a mat that emits such a terrible rubber smell and moves around.
Before using it fully, it’s necessary to take the time to learn how to use the dedicated software.
I bought a dedicated scanner because I thought it would be more reliable than scanning with a phone app, and so far I’m satisfied…
Just this rubber smell… haha…

The description on the website is not very satisfactory. However, the SD-5000NC scanner along with NetumScan Pro software works very well and quickly.
16 Mpx works well; the camera image can be enlarged without much loss of quality. The camera sometimes has a problem with exposure settings (brightness), generally it needs a lot of ambient light.
The internal LED light doesn’t help much.
The OCR module (scanning to Word) works somewhat – much better with scanning, for example. ABBY Fine Reader…
The settings of the camera itself can be changed in the program, but the default settings are best optimized.
English instruction modest, machine translation to Polish tragic.
The camera also works in the Camera app on Windows 10/11 with quite a few of its functions, and even much better in low-light conditions.
Generally, the rating of the equipment and program is 4 stars – maybe the next version will be improved?

Very versatile and useful. Experiments can be done remotely, Lessons and communications. Great function the viewer that with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pix is quite fluid and allows to zoom in on details. Keep an eye on the camera settings which by default were set to underexposure values. The color rendition is perfectly balanced through fine adjustment. Portable, lightweight and easy to use immediately. I am very happy with it. Thank you!! !

Excellent scanner. Paid very little compared to other sales platforms. I’m using it to scan books and it’s very fast. The only downside is the software: it has been partially translated and occasionally Chinese pop-ups appear, but mostly I can’t figure out where the OCR function is. In the photos, there’s an OCR tab visible but in the one I installed, I can’t find it.

Very good resolution. The mat can accommodate up to A4, but if you lift it slightly on a small base, it can also accommodate A3.

The learning curve is going to be though…. but after solving a couple of problems by myself i was able to make this work, and it is very useful. The quality of the scann is pretty accurate.
