It is light weight but just enough to support my 13 inches samsung tablet.
The only minor problem is hard to pull out the outer ring.
Besides, the outer ring does not lock very tight in place, so often it may rotate/move easily (if you hold the outer ring in an hand held position, the tablet will rotate and slide down)
