It is a manual coffee maker, you have a small pump at the top and you have to fill it with water to expel the coffee.

I could have bought it domestically, but it’s a manufacturer I don’t know well and it’s expensive so I didn’t want to buy it.
In the midst of that, I found Cafelffe’s manual espresso machine on .
I usually drink it with drip, but this allows me to extract the perfect amount when drinking cafe au lait.
I only use it when ordering cafe au lait.
The reason I switched to manual is because it’s troublesome when it breaks and I can adjust the pressure to my liking.
Maybe 95 out of 100 points? @5 points might not be suitable for those who like it very spicy because the quantity is small.

I bought this as a gift for my son because the first one I bought for myself – I was absolutely delighted with the flavors I could get. On vacation, I often rent apartments and there are no pressure cookers there, only electric ones. .
Now I can drink espresso anywhere I have hot water.

The truth is that I was very skeptical about the result (I’m quite a coffee maker) and that’s why I waited until it was heavily discounted. Pleasantly surprised, it makes a very decent coffee and it’s very easy and quick to make. It creates some foam. Obviously, it’s not like making it in a Nespresso machine but certainly for sporadic use in places where there is no machine or electricity. And it also looks very nice, better than in the photos on .

I tried both powder and capsules, but it’s difficult to find the optimal balance of granule size, quantity, and tamping for powder. Therefore, using capsules is recommended. Nevertheless, this product that doesn’t require electricity is a groundbreaking item in my opinion.

Good quality, feels solid. I already tried it with ground coffee and it looks similar to a drip coffee maker. It’s not like an espresso maker but for carrying it around without needing to plug it in, it’s excellent. The only caveat I would make is that the water reservoir is a bit small; you have to repeat the process twice to fill the included glass. The “pumping” isn’t that dramatic; it starts filling the glass around 10 minutes. I liked it quite a bit so it’s totally recommended.
