I bought this BownBee cotton kurta pajama set for my 4‑month‑old baby, expecting a soft, breathable outfit suitable for festivals and family gatherings. Unfortunately, the product was a huge disappointment from the moment I received it. The fabric does not feel soft or gentle on the skin as advertised — instead, it feels rough and not comfortable enough for a baby.
The biggest issue is color fading. Even after the first wash, the fabric noticeably lost color, and it kept getting worse with every wash after that. For a baby outfit meant to be washed frequently, this is a major quality flaw. Several recent reviews also mention similar issues with fading and inconsistent fabric feel, so it seems to be a recurring problem.
For the price, I expected a much better-quality woven cotton, especially from a brand that claims to focus on comfort and traditional elegance. The embroidery and print look decent at first, but the poor fabric quality completely overshadows any design appeal.
