How did we get our start?

Our kids always squeal with delight when their beloved grandad Mike comes over. One Sunday, he couldn’t manage it. We knew his sciatica was becoming too painful to bear.

As academics running clinical trials for inherited muscle diseases, we had access to a department of bright people at our disposal. We studied solutions that had potential, but all had inherent issues.

Eventually we devised a back support that managed Mike’s pain and in 2011, MEDiBrace was born.

As for Mike? He still comes over and our kids always joke, “Keep on movin’ grandad!”
